TAFN : Will there be a rolling demo
(self-running) ? If yes what will it cover ?
Tom Marx : There
are plans to release an AVI on the web site which
will display many of the new features in the game.
There’s a new graphic engine which enables Pyro to
create very realistic scenes and animation you can
not believe.
TAFN : Are there any training missions in C2 ?
How many ? and what will they teach the first time gamer
?
Tom Marx : There
is a tutorial included in the game which will cover
the main controls for your commandos and give you a
better understanding of how to interact with the
environment. This will be a benefit for the newbie
as well as the professional.
TAFN : What are the minimum & recommended
requirements to run the game on a PC ?
Tom Marx : These
have not been finalized yet but minimum specs should
not be too high as the game uses direct draw and
therefore a powerful 3D card will not be required.
TAFN : Are the vehicles in Commandos 2
controlled by cursor keys ?
Tom Marx : You
may control the vehicles with cursors or mouse and
in some cases both. When driving a tank, for
example, and you have two characters inside, one
will drive and the other can use the big gun. You
can easily drive with the cursor keys and aim and
fire using the mouse.
TAFN : Can our own bullets hurt our commandos,
when in line of fire ?
Tom Marx : You
can’t take aim on your own commandos; these are good
soldiers so they wouldn’t do this.
TAFN : In the previous movies we have seen a lot
of stationary guns, we mean big guns (these are really
too big for the commandos) . Can we use these guns ?
Tom Marx : You
can use some of the big guns, not all.
