Is there a multiplayer mode? |
Yes there is Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Sabotage modes. In Sabotage the players are divided into two teams, each team must have at least one Spy. When you defeat an opposing player there is a short period of time where the fallen player will lie on the ground (in agony of course). During this time your Spy can run up to that player and interrogate him. If successful the player will reveal a digit from the codekey for a bomb housed in their base. If you get all the digits (6) you can then arm the bomb and destroy their base. You must however guard your Spy (or Spies), if they are killed you will have to start interrogating from the beginning. Even worse if a Spy falls in battle and is interrogated he will reveal three digits of the code. You therefore have to protect your Spies and make sure they aren’t killed. Teamwork is key in this mode.

There will be a demo for PC, PS2 and XBOX shortly before release. |

What weapons are there? |
The Sniper can hold his breath when aiming with the sniper rifle. This will cause time to slow down for him allowing the perfect shot (he can shoot two enemies with one bullet). The Green Beret can dual wield certain weapons. There is an ordinance launcher which will fire grenades long distances. We have introduced Gasmasks which allow you to go into gas filled areas and take the enemy out. There are also sticky bombs and very powerful (usually mounted) machine guns that the GB can move with. |

What vehicles
are there? |
We are not planning for the player to be able to drive vehicles, unless we consider a rowing boat a vehicle. In exchange what we are offering the player are open maps for him or her to decide they way of solving the missions. (see February '05 CSF interview) |

|
What are the skills of the commandos? |
The Green Beret is your all action guy, using Panzerfausts, dual wielding weapons, he can also stab the enemy in the back (Just like O’Hara). Then the Sniper has his precision rifle which will allow him to take people out from distance, he can also hold his breath which will slow down time. He also has throwing knives if he needs to get in somewhere quietly. The Spy has abilities which will be easily recognisable from old Commandos games. He can use uniforms to infiltrate enemy lines and distract guards. He can alternatively grab a machine gun or garrotte the enemy. |
